ChooChooLoop

A toy train goes on inexorably, and you have to build the tracks to let it explore the surrounding playground, earn some points and buy some new track pieces on the way. Each time the train goes back to the main station, the tracks are resetted and you can build a new circuit.

Project made during the 2025 GMTK gamejam, on the theme "Loop".

I could only put some hours on this project during the jam, and it's really the bare bones of the prototype... Hope you will enjoy building the tracks aimlessly for some seconds!

Controls:
Move camera with WASD or the arrows.
Rotate the camera by pressing right mouse button and moving the mouse.
Change camera distance by pressing right mouse button and using the mouse wheel.
Start the train engine and launch the loop by pressing spacebar.
While the train is moving, you can hover the mouse over the end of the tracks: this will show what new piece of tracks you will add if you press left mouse button. The mouse wheel  without pressing right mouse button will cycle through the different pieces.
Exit the game by pressing Esc.
